I’m still not sure how in the world the Heat ended up getting this kid at number ten, but they did and I ain’t complaining. After watching the above video I’m wishing the season started tomorrow. Justise Winslow has a talent and charisma for the game that will translate into not only wins, but some very exciting basketball.
After Chris Bosh’s injury, a disappointing end to last season, and uncertainty regarding a Heat Lifer, things just might be starting to turn around for the Miami Heat. If so, and all the pieces end-up falling back in place – The Heat should be a dangerous team this coming year.

On Wednesday June 4th, supercars, superstars and fans will gather on Miami’s Ocean Drive as the city prepares for the start of the 2014 Gumball 3000 Rally.
Among the palm trees, sunshine and white sand, Gumballers can expect a hot Floridian welcome. The whole of the famous Art Deco strip will be taken over exclusively by Gumball cars – and it’s set to be the city’s event of the year. The launch party will be a truly Miami experience, and our star performers will make sure the 2014 rally starts with a bang as champagne flows and Gumballers get ready for the week ahead.
On Thursday June 5th, it’s time to start your engines as the rally officially gets on the road and starts the first leg onwards to Daytona Speedway.
Below is the rest of the schedule. I believe the race starts on Ocean Drive, Miami Beach between 10:00AM and 1:00PM with the start flag dropping at 10:00AM sharp.

Seventeen years ago today the Great Miami Tornado gave downtown Miami the scare of a lifetime. The tornado touched down around 2PM and crossed both the MacArthur Causeway and the Venetian Causeway as it headed towards Miami Beach. As the tornado left downtown Miami it lifted out of the water before touching down briefly in Miami Beach. Luckily, the tornado didn’t cause much damage. Other than minor damage throughout the city and a flipped car on the beach it was relatively harmless.
